In another project for Active Network, we were handed the highest compliment a production partner can receive. “We need a complex footprint for Petco, the account exec at Active said. “Here’s the list, here’s the art, here’s the date, keep us posted. “
It wasn’t quite that simple, of couse, but we were very aware of the level of trust that had been placed in our hands. The pressure was on, and the event inventory contained several items that were way off the beaten track of our product mix at the time. We had no choice but to hit the phones, the web, whatever it took to make the project happen. In the end, we supplied not only the printed tents, backdrops and table covers, but also the portable PVC fencing, the prop yellow fire hydrant, the covered cocktail tables – even the doggie poop bags. One sign that the display was a success was that visiting dogs actually peed on the fake fire hydrant. True story. See pic below. Hey, when the pets are happy, life is good. Active Network and Petco felt the same way.
