There were several challenges for MPA at the Portland stop on the Dew Tour in 2015 . As so often is the case, the signage budget was the steepest hill to climb. Working with our client, Fuse Marketing, we massaged the plan to yield an acceptable level of branding for the money we had to work with. Materials figured into the mix; given a tight window for installation (and no room for error), we decided on a thicker, low-tack outdoor-rated vinyl that could be quickly installed by the MPA team, then removed by the event organizers without leaving residue on the building windows. Under other circumstances, we would have used window perf for a job like this, but that would have added significant cost, both in term of production and post-event removal. Things continued to go our way when it didn't rain during installation, and the large graphics on the tall buildings at Hatfield Hall in downtown Portland did their job as an imprssive backdrop to the Dew Tour competition.
